Guarantees and Final Sales
All your electronic purchases are 100% guaranteed up to seven days against defectiveness only. Any returns due to defectiveness will be good for store credit only (no cash or credit card refunds.) All returns must be in the same condition in which they were purchased.
All other items listed on your sales invoice may be exchanged for other merchandise only if the sales sticker and packaging are intact (seal can not be broken, opened, or re-sealed.)
The maximum period for exchange is seven days after purchase.
R-Galaxy reserves the right to limit the number of returns.
All sales are final and R-Galaxy does not provide any cash refunds.
There are no returns or exchanges for any purchases of comic books or card products.
Buy, Sell and Trade with R-Galaxy
We buy collections.
No appointments are necessary, but please contact us ahead of time, if possible.
We are generally looking for items that are still hot and in demand, or quality pieces and the harder-to-find. The condition of the items are almost always an important factor. If you have a collection, or if you have a hodgepodge of various unrelated items, bring it all in to the store and we will evaluate it and make you a cash offer for either the whole collection, or just the pieces we need. On occasion, we may only offer trade, especially if we are overstocked on the items, or if demand is minimal.
Larger cash offers may be paid in the form of a check.
If you live outside the area, feel free to contact us with a description of your collection, but please do not send any attachments with your e-mail, because unfortunately we will not be able to look at them. Please confine the description and contents to the e-mail itself.
Selling your used videos and DVDs:
Contact us by e-mail (rick@r-galaxy.com) or phone (520-322-0422) and provide us with a list of all your videos that you wish to sell that are in excellent condition. Generally, we offer between no more than $1.00 for VHS tapes, and $1 to $4 for most DVDs. We offer the most money for harder-to-find movies, highly in-demand movies, and very recent releases.
Selling your used, high quality Video Games:
When you finish a game, or just get tired of it, remember it still has value to R-Galaxy because we sell used, guaranteed-to-work video games. You can also trade in your used games against new, sealed games. The newest games in the best condition can get up to $10 each. At present, we are buying Playstation 3 and some Playstation 2 video games, and we also purchase used X-Box 360 andsome X-Box
.
Selling your used music compact discs:
R-Galaxy is currently buying large quantities of music CDs, especially rock, alternative, jazz, blues, world music and country. R-Galaxy pays between 50 cents to $4.00 for used music CDs. We buy at any time during store hours without apointment, but call ahead if possible to insure an R-Galaxy buyer is on site. We buy whole collections or just a few CDs, whatever suits your needs. R-Galaxy buys CDs that have been well-maintained and still have some demand from the public. All CDs must have at least the front jacket as well.
Special Orders
R-Galaxy places special orders for customers as a regular part of our service. However, no special orders are guaranteed because most distributors will not guarantee that we will receive their product.
Special orders are placed by deposit (cash or credit card) only.
Special orders will take a minimum of seven days to fill, and sometimes over one month. Your patience is appreciated. Typically, expect a 1 to 3 week wait. If you have been waiting for longer than one month, ask us for the current status of your special order and we will check with the distributor for their most current information.
Layaways and Holds
R-Galaxy will only hold items for purchase, and only for 24 hours.
There are no layaways.
R-Galaxy does not hold videos for rental.

We have endeavored to link you up to the critical websites that update current comic book issues weekly.

Comic Book Release Dates
Among the website features are links to Diamond Comic Distributors and “Shipping This Week” lists. Diamond Comics is the single largest comic distributor in the world. R-Galaxy, Inc. uses their services to provide our customers with the best new comics every week, which almost always are ready for purchase by 3 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, except when major holidays may move the shipping day to Thursday.
Remember that it is not necessary to know when your favorite comic book is coming out if you have an R-Galaxy subscription to the comic book, because we will set aside the comic book for you, which is another free service that we offer.
Free Comic Book Subscription Service
If you read comics, there are bound to have been times when you have missed getting a particular new comic book because it was sold out. Our free subscription service is available so that each month you will be able to count on getting the continuing-series comic books that make collecting comics so enjoyable. If you live in the Tucson area, simply stop in the store and set up your free subscription.
Comic book subscriptions are initially offered as a free service of R-Galaxy. The service is conducted on an honor basis, with the subscriber (you) promising to:
(1) Come into R-Galaxy once each month to pay for your comics held by subscription. Picking up your books once a month is your responsibility. R-Galaxy will not notify you when your comic books arrive, so it is very important that you come into the store once a month. R-Galaxy will hold your comic subscription until you are late 10 days since your last purchase. At that time, if arrangements are not made to immediately pick up your entire subscription, the subscription will be cancelled. R-Galaxy will re-instate a subscription by non-refundable cash deposit only, in an amount to be determined by R-Galaxy.
(2) Notify R-Galaxy at least two months in advance of any changes to your subscription, including canceling a comic book that you do not want anymore, or canceling your whole subscription. Adding a comic book to your subscription will almost always allow you to receive the next issue, unless there are not enough copies of that comic book on order. In that case, we will still try to get your new comic book subscription started as soon as possible.
If you live outside the Tucson area and there are no local comic shops that provide this service, you can contact us and make arrangements for setting up a subscription by mail. Subscriptions by mail will require that you send us a deposit based on the size of your subscription in the form of a money order and that you pay for all shipping charges and insurance for each month's delivery.
Single Item orders
Single item orders (any item listed in Previews sold individually) are orderable as long as you supply us with the “Previews” month, page number, and the item’s exact title. We can then guarantee that you will get it, provided that the item is not cancelled or allocated by the vendor. All orders $8 and over require a full deposit down at the time of placing the order.
Comic Book Requests and Searches
Are you having a hard time finding a particular back issue comic? We will put your requests into our database and keep an eye out for them as collections are sold to us, and single comics are traded in to us. When we find that comic, we will be glad to contact you. When you e-mail us your requests, send only your top ten requests. We ask for just your top ten because of the time that is required entering the data.
Rare variants are always priced above the normal cover price, and will be priced based on demand.
Anime
We are happy to say that we love anime!
"Anime" is Japanese animation, and includes a diverse range of genres including comedy, romance, science fiction, fantasy, mecha /robots, action and much more. R-Galaxy continues to offer an extensive selection of anime titles for rental at very inexpensive rates, so that you can afford to rent a lot of anime!
The past years have seen a growing number of anime series on network and cable television. If you are interested in seeing anime series in their original, uncut form in Japanese with English subtitles, R-Galaxy has them all!

Manga (Japanese Comics)
Have you tried manga? If you love anime, but you're not sure if you would like Japanese comics (manga), remember this: some of the best scenes of your favorite anime series might appear only in the manga!
We carry a wide variety of manga in both Japanese and English. If you desire complete storylines, we offer many trade paperbacks and manga collections that will satisfy your manga appetite.
If you're just experimenting with manga, let us know what type of stories you prefer, and we will try to find just the “perfect” manga for you. Whether its Takahashi, Shirow, Fujishima or any of the talented writers and artists producing manga, we hope that your manga reading experience will be just as enjoyable as watching anime.

Cards
We carry many trading cards. We sell full boxes at a discount, and you can also ask to see the many hard-to-find “chase cards” for your favorite card series.
The hottest cards continue to be collectible card games. Collectible cards are a specialty of R-Galaxy, and pre-eminent among them is Magic: The Gathering, the grandfather of collectible card games. We have specialized in rare Magic: The Gathering cards since 1993, when the game began. We have several hundred thousand Magic: The Gathering cards that you can buy from R-Galaxy !!

R-Galaxy is dedicated to fan favorites and unusual yet high quality films that you might see at international film festivals. We also carry U.S. films if there is a strong following for them. We locate the best of the best and bring these films in as inexpensive rentals to R-Galaxy. Some of the broad genres we offer include:

Special Orders for Movies
R-Galaxy requires that you leave a deposit for the full retail price of the DVD in the form of cash or credit card (only money orders if you are ordering from outside the Tucson area.) We will also need your name and current phone number (and address outside Tucson) to contact you when your DVD arrives.
Opening a video rental account
Video membership can only be opened by an adult of 18 years or older.
Video membership can only be opened if you have:
(1) a current Arizona driver's license or military I.D. card, and
(2) a current VISA, MasterCard, or American Express credit card. [Debit cards will not work to open an account, but you can pay for your rentals and purchases with debit cards.]
Membership is free.
You will be asked to read R-Galaxy rental policies and sign a rental contract. Upon opening a rental account, you may add a family member or friend, for whom you will be solely responsible.
Video and DVD Rental Policies (subject to change)
What follows is an informal summary, not the video rental contract itself:
Video membership can only be opened by an adult of 18 years or older.
The applicant must have a current Arizona driver’s license, and either a current Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. No debit or check cards may be used to open a membership.
Membership is free.
New arrivals are $2.99 each, and due back by closing the next evening.
All other videos are two for $1.99, and due back by closing the next evening.
Rentals must be returned at the counter to an employee between 11 a.m. and closing the next day (normal store hours.)
Un-rewound videos will incur a 50 cent charge per video.
Late fees are $1.99 per late day for the first six late days.
Late fees are due immediately upon return of late videos. Unpaid late fees or unpaid rewind fees will be subject to an additional $1.00 per irental item plus accrued tax.
Do not keep the videos more than seven (7) days or they will be considered stolen, and you will be charged for the full retail price of the tape, and all late fees, and an additional $100 penalty per tape.
R-Galaxy does not hold videos for rental.
Toys
However, you may place orders for toys if (1) they are offered individually in “Previews” and (2) a full cash deposit at the time the order is placed.
